KCCA boss Mike Mutebi and Onduparaka midfielder Gaddafi Gadinho have booth scooped Premier League awards for December.

Mutebi has landed the Premier League’s Pilsner coach of the Month award after guiding KCCA to four wins from five matches in December, ensuring the Kasasiro started 2019 top of the table.

KCCA earned victories over Maroons, Ndejje University, Paidha Black Angels and Bul and lost only once to Express.

On top of the accolade, Mutebi and Gaddafi who scored twice in December to help Onduparaka stay in the top four received Ugx. 1 million.

“This accolade is more meaningful that the money attached to it,” said Mutebi. “The award is durable and motivates us the coaches and players to perform better. I am honoured,” he added.

Gaddafi was also honoured and believes the award is a motivating factor.

“I am very honoured to be named the player of the month for December 2018,” said Gadinho. “It motivates me to play well. I thank the club management and the rest of my teammates as well as the fans. I am indeed happy that the league has recognised me,” he added.
