KCCA manager Mike Mutebi has moved to clear the air over the future of his star players Mustafa Kizza and Allan Okello.
The duo, arguably KCCA’s most important players, missed the club’s 1-0 league victory over Mbarara City on Wednesday.
Mutebi explained their absence saying Okello was battling malaria while Kizza was suffering with a groin problem.
The two are yet to receive new contract offers from the club with the current deals running down.
And talk is ripe that the two are being unsettled by interest from foreign clubs, which could perhaps forced Mutebi to omit them from the game against Mbarara.
“We shall not be arm-twisted (in giving new deals) but KCCA will make good offers to the two players,” Mutebi said on the current contract stalemate between the players and the club.
Mutebi, however, cautioned: “Even those we have exported within one year are back because they don’t want to listen.
“When somebody wins a car, we don’t believe they are a finished article.”
The marauding left-back, Kizza, is rumoured to be on the brink of joining a Moroccan side while Okello has been on the radar of Tanzania giants Azam.
