Esperance vs KCCA

Al Ahly vs Township Rollers

Bernard Muwanga is raring to go as KCCA face a herculean task away in Tunisia in the Caf Champions League next Tuesday.

The Ugandans play their third match in Group A against Esperance looking to earn their first away points since Mike Mutebi took over the reins as KCCA manager three years ago.

It is the same game that will see Muwanga make his debut since the former SC Villa captain changed address a couple of weeks ago.

“I’m looking forward to my first game,” he said, “And of course we know how strong Esperance.

“If we got a point we won’t complain. But we shall go there and do our best for the best result.”

Muwanga, 26, has been part of some of the most solid defences at Bright Stars and Villa. He is now a regular in the Uganda Cranes.

He will want to get even better at KCCA, who are third on as many points in Group A of the Champions League after two matches. Esperance top the group on four points while Al Ahly are bottom.
