Nyamityobora 0-2 KCCA FC

Express 3-1 Bright Stars

SC Villa and Ndejje University will have to wait for another day to know their StarTimes Uganda Premier League fate after the latter’s game against Onduparaka was washed out on Wednesday.

The game had gone 20 minutes in at the Arena of Visions ground when the match officials led by centre referee Shamira Nabadda called it off because of an unplayable surface caused by a heavy downpour.

The two teams are now expected to play the remaining 70 minutes at the same ground on Thursday.

Ndejje, who – with two games left, occupy the final relegation spot with 26 points, are five behind SC Villa.

Villa are left with a home fixture against the already relegated Nyamityobora on Saturday.

Elsewhere, Patrick Kaddu took his league tally to 12 goals with a brace as champions KCCA beat Nyamityobora 2-0.

Actually, all top three teams won with second placed Vipers winning through a Brian Nkuubi goal in a 1-0 victory over Paidha Black Angels.

At Lugogo, Cromwell Rwothomio scored in each half as URA beat 2-0 Police.

There was another brace at the Betway Mutesa II Stadium, Ibrahim Kayiwa bundling it in and Tony Odur adding another goal as Express run out 3-1 victors over Bright Stars
