Vipers Coach Jorge Miguel Costa Duarte is impressed with the response from the players after two days of training.

The Portuguese, who is a three year deal with the club, says the boys are trying to learn and they are working hard.

“What I see is this team can beat everyone,” he told upl.co.ug. “But there are some issues in their game though we are here to try to correct them,” he added.

What we want is to continue working and am impressed the boys are working hard, trying to learn very fast and probably, we shall have a nice weekend against Platinum Stars.

The former FC Porto player whose career was allegedly ended by a knee injury has called up fans to come in numbers to cheer the team.

I want the stadium to be full. I want the fans in big numbers and they will see a great game and I hope they also see a great performance from the team.

The Platinum Stars duel will be the Portuguese first game in charge but he remains tight lipped on whether he will be in charge of team selection after just three training sessions with the boys.

That’s inside staff things. There are things you must not know and this is one of them.

Miguel is the first tactician from Europe to handle Vipers and only the second foreigner to coach the team after Nigerian Ambrose Chukuma.
