- KCCA Vs Masavu – Lugogo 4pm
KCCA have no choice but beat struggling Masavu to put their campaign back on track.
The two sides meet in one of the three league games on the day at Lugogo with the Kasasiro targeting to win only their third game of what promises to be a ‘tough’ campaign.
Coach Mike Mutebi has already demanded a response from his charges after they faltered against SC Villa in the 2-1 loss at Masaka that leaves them 8th on the log with 10 points.
“We have no choice but beat Masavu,” he said. “They will be eager to prove a point and being at Lugogo, they will play good football but my players must be responsible,” he added.
KCCA will hope strikers Patrick Kaddu and Derrick Nsibambi don their scoring boots as Timothy Awany and company keep things tight at the back.
The visitors will rely on Ddumba Saddala for inspiration as well as striker Abraham Ndugwa.
Ironically, their only win of the season came at Lugogo against Proline and thus KCCA have reason to worry.
