No excuses for Vipers as they visit Bangui in Congo | CAF CL

UPL champions Vipers will have no excuse when they visit Central African Republic’s Olympique Real de Bangui at the Stade Alphonse Massamba Debat in Congo Brazzaville.

The Venoms, playing in the Champions League for the fourth time have played and won two international games and Siraje Sentamu is confident of displaying same in Brazzaville.

“We are all in good condition and aiming to pick a win,” he said on arrival in Brazzaville. “We have prepared well for the game and also played two international friendlies which we won so it’s nothing new as we already got the exposure of playing away,” he added.

“For now, all focus is on the game and if we follow our coaches’ instructions, we shall win.”

Without departed Ceaser Manzoki, Bobosi Byaruhanga and Halid Lwaliwa, injured Paul Mucureezi and Yunus Sentamu, coach Roberto Oliviera is expected to unleash some of his new gems Marvin Youngman, Cromwell Rwothomio and defender Murushid Jjuuko.
