Rwanda Vs Uganda – Regional stadium, Nyamirambo @ 4pm

[Uganda Cranes Lead 3-0 from the first leg]

Odds are in favour of Uganda Cranes ahead of the clash against The Amavubi of Rwanda in the final leg of the play off of the Chan 2018 finals qualifiers.

The two renew rivalry at the Regional stadium, Nyamirambo with the visitors in a comfortable 3-0 lead following the first leg clash at St. Mary’s stadium, Kitende last week.

In addition to that, Uganda Cranes’ statistics against their bitter rivals and neighbours are in favour of the visitors.

First, Rwanda need to win the game by at least 3-0 to call for penalties but the Amavubi have only managed scoring three goals against Uganda once in 32 meetings.

That was in an international friendly in 1996 when Rwanda won 3-2 at Amahoro.

A repeat of such result puts The Cranes through to their fourth successive Chan finals appearance.

Besides, the previous seven meetings have seen the Cranes win 6 and drawn the other – all results give Moses Basena and his charges a ticket to Kenya.
