KCCA FC and Algerian side AC Paradou have agreed a loan move for Allan Okello ahead of the 2022/23 football season.
The forward has been at the Algerian club since January 2020, where he is currently on a four-year contract.
The KCCA Junior Team graduate returns to Lugogo on a season-long loan and is definitely a huge boost for the 13-time national champions.
Okello joined KCCA Soccer Academy in 2015 and played for the club’s Junior Team in the FUFA Juniors League for two years.
He then rose through the ranks and later made his debut for KCCA FC senior team on 27th February 2017 aged just 16 years old.
During his time at KCCA, Okello played 112 games and scored a total of 39 goals in three years – attracting attention after his impressive displays both at home and on the continent.
At the time of leaving for AC Paradou in January 2020, Okello was the club’s top scorer in the Uganda Premier League with six goals in the 10 games he played in the first round of the season.
He was also the reigning FUFA Men’s Footballer of the year (2019). Okello is the 11th player to join KCCA in this transfer window.
The others are Haruna Lukwago, Daniel Isiagi, Mujuzi Mustafa, Shaban Muhammad, Tshisungu Kankonde, Moses Waiswa, Ssenoga Muhamed, and teenagers Faisal Wabyoona, Saidi Mayanja, and Allan Enyou.
