Reigning champions Vipers SC make a trip to Bombo to face hosts UPDF aware of the threat the army side pose at the moment.
Brian Ssenyondo’s men are fighting to keep their spot in the top tier and currently sit 12th with 22 points, just three above safety.
They come into the game unbeaten in the last four games in which they have won three and held giants KCCA in the last game at Lugogo.
Vipers have won their last two games on the bounce after going eight without an outright win and Alex Isabirye wants his charges to build on that.
“We’ve got another opportunity to go away and try and build on our recent performances and try to get an away win,” said Isabirye, “If we do, we’ll creep closer to where we want to be.”
“It’s going to be a tough game, but we’re in a good place, we want to go there and be really tough to beat.”
The Venoms have a decent record against the army side with no defeat in the last eleven meetings.
On the same day, Onduparaka, at the base of the table host limping Soltilo Bright Stars at the Green Light stadium, Arua.
