- Vipers Vs Onduparaka – Arua 4pm
Onduparaka will be all out to inflict more damage on Vipers when the two meet at Betway Green Light stadium, Arua.
The Caterpillars, who target a fourth win on the trot in the league, go into the game as favourites against a side that hasn’t won in two games so far.
“It’s an important game not only for us but our fans too,” said Coach Leo Adraa. “We know they will play like wounded lions but we shall handle them and hope our fans push us like they have always done,” he added.
Ceaser Okhuti and Karim Ndugwa will be tasked to look for goals in the absence of Alfred Leku who is ineligible to face parent side since he is on loan from Vipers with Kabon Living and Vianney Ssekajugo doing the creative roles.
Vipers are expected to make changes from the team that drew 1-1 with Soana but will miss the services of midfielder Hassan Kalega who has been in superb form.
Strikers Milton Karisa and Erisa Sekisambu have to be clinical in front of goal if Vipers are to end Onduparaka’s home unbeaten run that stretches back to over four years ago.
A win for either will see them replace Police at the summit as Onduparaka; second at the moment are level on 13 points while 3rd placed Vipers are just two points adrift.
