URA 0-1 Onduparaka

URA lost their first game since parting ways with coach Ibrahim Kirya, going down 1-0 to Onduparaka at Namboole on Friday.

Viane Ssekajugo was Onduparaka’s hero, giving the visitors the lead-cum winner on four minutes.

Onduparaka’s seventh victory, same as second placed KCCA, sees them end the first round of the Azam Uganda Premier League (AUPL) third in the log with 25 points.

Defeat, URA’s fifth after 15 matches, sees the tax collectors drop one place to seventh on 20 points, a massive 11 behind leaders SC Villa.

Kirya has since been appointed Mbarara City coach, with Paul Nkanta returning to URA as boss.
