Onduparaka 3-0 Masavu
Onduparaka returned from the international break firing, thrashing relegation-bound Masavu 3-0 at Green Light Stadium on Friday to keep in company of the big boys on the table.
Left winger Viane Sekajugo scored a brace with Caesar Okhuti adding the other as the West Nile side ended a three-match winless streak.
Onduparaka are fifth on 33 points, only a mark behind Azam Uganda Premier League (AUPL) defending champions KCCA.
The hosts were fast off the blocks, Sekajugo opening the scoring as early as the third minute as Masavu, who remain rooted at the basement of the 16-team league table on 19 points from 22 matches, tried to settle in.
The forward completed his brace 13 minutes later to hand Onduparaka a 2-0 half time lead.
Striker Caesar Okhuti added the icing on the cake with the third on 59 minutes as Onduparaka recorded their ninth victory in 22 matches.
