Onduparaka Football Club have committed 19-year-old striker Jamal Malish to a three-year contract that will keep the teenager at Green Light Stadium for at least up to 2021.
Jamal, a graduate of the Airtel Rising Stars U-17 football programme with Kitara Region, was officially unveiled at the club mid-this week.
The youngster is viewed as a replacement for Alfred Leku, whose loan spell from the parent Club Vipers Sports, ended.
“Jamal, late last year, signed for us but we had to wait until now to officially unveil him as the transfer period hadn’t officially opened,” club publicist Adams Vegas Otelul told Onduparaka website.
“He has shown us the hunger and fighting spirit he has with the few trainings we have conducted with him.
“His display in the recent build-up game against Young Maroons, where he netted a brace, is something we hope he can emulate (build on) in the league to solve our woes upfront.”
Jamil has most recently been playing for Hoima-based Kitara Football Club, a Fufa Big league side.
He is joined by midfielder Moses Ndawula, who was signed from Kenya Premier League club Tusker.
