Onduparaka returned to winning ways in the Azam Uganda Premier League thanks to a late strike from Kabon Living that sunk visiting Kirinya Jinja SS at the Betway Green Light stadium.
Kabon scored with a minute to full time at the fully packed intimidating stadium in the first ever televised match from the venue.
The Caterpillars went into the game on the back of two disappointing results in which they lost 3-1 to Proline away and threw away a two goal lead to draw 2-2 with URA in Arua earlier this week.
With the game destined for spoils, Kabon, one of their deadly attacking players scored the winner to send the fully packed home fans into wild cheers.
The win takes Charles Livingstone Mbabazi’s side to 3rd on the log with 29 points while Kirinya Jinja SS are 15th with 13 points after 18 games.
Elsewhere, The Saints brought on fire Bul back to earth with a 2-0 win at Champions stadium, Matugga.
Former Bul striker, Julius Malingumu scored in each half to condemn Frank Anyau’s side to the 8th defeat of the season.
The former KJT and Vipers forward put the hosts in the lead in the 38th minute and just two minutes after the break, he doubled their lead.
Moses Basena’s side now moves to 9th on the log with 21 points while Bul remain 14th with 16 points after 18 games.

Action in the league continues on Saturday with Bright Stars hosting Soana at Matugga while SC Villa play their first home league tie of the second round against Lweza at Nakivubo.
