Onduparaka and Kirinya Jinja SS have earned direct tickets to the Azam Uganda Premier League (AUPL) thanks to victories on the final day of the FUFA Big League.
The Caterpillars, as Onduparaka is famously known, beat second placed Sporting United 3-0 at Green Light Stadium, Arua to cement top spot in Elgon group as they finish on 53 points, six more than their day’s opponents.
Ceaser Olega and Muhammad Shaban were on the score sheet for the hosts in a game watched by a mammoth crowd.
In Fort Portal, Proline conceded a late equaliser against Kasese New Villa to surrender top spot in a 1-1 draw.
