Rashid Toha’s quickfire goal in the opening minute and Viane Sekajugo’s eight minutes later ensured the West Nile team kept with pace setters Police.
Police were 2-1 winners over Vipers on the same day, making the two and Onduparaka joint leaders on 10 points.
Defeat for Soana leaves them in the bottom two with just four points.
In beating Soana, Livingston Mbabazi’s boys maintained their unbeaten home record at Green Light Stadium, a venue with such an intimidating home faithful.
Soana did not even have time to settle in, the hosts ripping into them inside the first minute when Toha struck.
Sekajugo put the game beyond Soana with a ninth minute goal as the hosts picked up yet another maximum points.
