Police 0-5 Onduparaka
Viane Sekajugo grabbed a brace as Onduparaka pounded Police for five in an Azam Uganda Premier League (AUPL) match played at Namboole on Friday.
Moses Ndawula, Hassan Mohammad and Ezra Bida scored the others in the 5-0 romp.
The victory has Onduparaka fourth on 41 points on the table with four matches to go.
Just in the second campaign of their topflight football, the West Nile club – who trail leaders Vipers by 11 points, can be proud of how the season has progressed thus far.
Vipers top standings on 52 following their emphatic 3-1 victory over title rivals KCCA at St Mary’s Stadium on the same day.
For Police, who topped the table for most of the first round, it’s been a second part of the season to forget.
Their massive collapse has them in seventh on 32 points.
At Namboole, they could barely match the fiery Onduparaka, whose early surge tore apart Police for a 2-0 first half lead.
And it was their new talisman Sekajugo who had them go, scoring his brace on 30 and 40 minutes.
Ndawula added the third on the hour before Mohammad and Bida grabbed two more for an emphatic thrashing.
