Busoga United 0-1 Onduparaka

Onduparaka edged home side Busoga United 1-0 at Fufa Technical Centre, Njeru on Saturday to go second on the StarTimes Uganda Premier League (SUPL) table.

Rajab Kakoza’s eventual winner came on the stroke of half time for the West Nile side to move to nine points, one behind leaders SC Villa.

This was coach Livingstone Mbabazi side’s third victory in four matches, although one of them came courtesy of a decision that saw them awarded three points and as many goals after their would-be opponents, Police, failed to honour their opening game of the season.

For Busoga, this was an anticlimax following their resounding victory over local rivals Bul in the week.

This was the Jinja side’s third defeat in five matches, and leaves them in seventh place on seven points.
