Our target is to avoid relegation, Odoch

Nyamityobora coach James Odoch admits the club’s target is to avoid relegation this season.

The league’s new entrants have a had bitter welcome to the topflight division losing both of their games (2-0 vs Onduparaka) and 3-2 versus Bright Stars despite leading 2-0 at half time.

“Staying in the league is our ambition,” Odoch, a former champions with SC Villa and Express as a player stated, “It’s got to be staying up. We are a new club in this and we have to be honest with ourselves,” he added in an interview with Monitor Sport.

The side find themselves hosting matches in Kampala, Wankulukuku to be specific and Odoch says all that is hindrance to their objectives but stays optimistic.

“The licensing issue and the stadium back home not being ready have not done us any good for our start.

“But once all this is fixed, I can tell you I have a good squad to achieve our objectives.

Nyamityobora sit bottom of the log with no point after two games.
