Police have confirmed their second signing in the window by unveiling defender Muhamood Hassan alias Mood.

The centre back penned a two year contract at the club and joins midfielder Tonny Mawejje who was confirmed as the first signing on Monday.

“We are pleased to announce the signing of defender Hassan Muhamood from Onduparaka Football Club on a two-year deal,” the club confirmed in

The defender who joins the Cops from Onduparaka was also a subject of interest from Wakiso Giants and Express FC.

Mood, formerly at SC Villa and Express expressed desire for a new challenge at the 2005 league champions.

“I am so happy to join Police FC. It’s a new challenge for me as a player and am going to do my best so that we go back at the top. I am looking forward to meeting the players and coaches.”

He will have competition for a place at the heart of defence with Henry Katongole, Joseph Sentume and Silvestre Ssemakula among others.
