Former league champions Police target a better 2017-18 campaign after narrow survive on the final day last season.The 2005 league winner’s tactician, Abdallah Mubiru and Chairman Asan Kasingye said this as they beefed up the squad with over 8 new faces.
The Cops, on Friday unveiled midfielder Albert Mugisa from Ndejje University, Juma Balinya from Lweza, and Aggrey Madoi on loan from Vipers, Sam Kayongo from Kira United and goalkeeper Simon Tamale from Lungujja Galaxy.
Others are Sadolin Paints’ duo of Norman Ojik and Basan Saafi as midfielder Shakur Makeera from Nkumba University.
Meanwhile, the club also offered permanent deals to Paul Willa, Yasin Mugume and Martin Mpuuga who played on loan from KCCA last season.
Abdallah Mubiru who joined the side midway last season hopes the team will be better than it was last season.
With support from the management, we expect to be competitive as opposed to last season.
