Police, Express target first victory on league return

Tuesday October 16

  • Police Vs Express – StarTimes stadium, Lugogo 4pm Live on Sanyuka TV
  • Tooro United Vs Kirinya Jinja SS – Kavumba 4.30pm
  • Bul Vs Paidha Black Angels – Njeru Technical Centre 4.30pm

Police host six time champions Express with either eager to pick their first maximum points of the season.

The hosts come into the game on the back of losses to Bul and Paidha and remain point less at the stage while the Red Eagles lost 3-1 to Mbarara City after drawing goalless with URA in their opening game.

The previous encounters between the two sides have proved thrilling with 18 goals scored in the last four league ties.

Abdallah Mubiru hope his forwards led by Ronald Nyanzi are in fine form while Tony Odur and Eric Kambale will be the main men for Kefa Kisala’s visitors.

While with Bul last season, Kisala won all games against the Cops but Mubiru got a double over Express FC.

In Jinja, Bul will hope to return to winning ways after faltering against Tooro United when they host Paidha Black Angels.

The visitors come into the game on the back of a morale boosting win over Police in Arua.

Elsewhere, Tooro United return to their former home Kavumba Recreation Ground for a tie against Kirinya Jinja SS.
