Tuesday result

Police 2-1 Wakiso Giants

A 90th minute Pius Kaggwa winner broke Wakiso Giants hearts as Police came from behind to claim all three points at StarTimes Stadium, Lugogo on Tuesday.

Viane Sekajugo had given the visitors a first half lead but Ben Ocen levelled matters after the hour as the hosts pushed hard for maximum points.

Police were registering only their second StarTimes Uganda Premier League (SUPL) victory in nine attempts.

It moves them to five points although they still remain second from bottom, five marks away from Proline.

Both Proline ad Police were docked points early in the season for not honouring their fixtures against SC Villa and Onduparaka respectively.

Wakiso Giants, who are eighth in a 16-team league o 13 points, went ahead when Sekajugo beat their defence and goalkeeper on 16 miutes, but Ocen and Kaggwa had other ideas after the break.
