Tuesday, Kavumba Recreation Ground – 4pm

The last time Police FC won a league title was in 2005 when they beat a ’tournament league’ beating SC Villa on penalties.

Sam Timbe who is at the helm at the moment was in charge and as they sit third on the log with the second half kicking off on Tuesday, they still fancy their chances.

The Cops on 26 points are just three adrift of log leaders KCCA and have a chance to close gap when they take on bogey side Lweza FC at Kavumba.

Timbe’s charges won the first leg 1-0 but in four meetings in all competitions, they have lost three times including 2-1 at home last season.

For Lweza, they will be desperate to pick points as they intend to escape the relegation monster given they are just four points off the drop zone.

Joseph Mutyaba’s side will bank on the experience of forward Geoffrey Sserunkuma who scored one of Uganda Cranes three goals at CHAN as well new signings Juma Balinya, Emmanuel Kalyowa and Fred Kalanzi who decided this fixture last season with a brace.
