• Police 2-0 Proline

A brace from Norman Ogik was enough for hosts Police to win against Proline and move top of the log.

The Cops started well but had to wait till the 31st minute break down a resilient Proline backline commanded by the returning Savio Kabugo.

Yasin Mugume stole the ball inside the Proline half, sent Albert Mugisa through with a nice pass and the latter’s teasing cross went through the legs of Ibrahim Ssendi before Ogik tapped into an empty net.

The second half was no different with the hosts dominating play although Sula Matovu and Joseph Ssemujju also threatened with pace upfront.

However, Ogik doubled the hosts’ lead with an almost similar strike after a swift counter from own half initiated by midfield gem, Gift Ali.

The goal came in the 57th minute but the cops should have scored more but Mugisa, Ocen and Ogik missed good chances.

Police are now on 7 points after three games while Proline are at the base of log with a point with a single point.
