  • Vipers Vs Police – St. Mary’s stadium, Kitende 4pm Live on Azam TV

Police make a short trip to St. Mary’s stadium, Kitende with a mission to complete a double over Vipers.

The Cops came from a goal down to win 2-1 at Namboole in the first round fixture and a similar result will see them not only complete a double over the Venoms but also deter their title charge.

However, the visitors are indifferent from at the moment with just two wins in their last five games and face a side beaming with confidence.

The former champions and current log leaders have not lost a game in the New Year and last tasted defeat way back in December at home to URA.

Brian Nkuubi, Milton Karisa and skipper Nicholas Wadada return for Miguel Da Costa’s side that are on 55 points while Cops will miss the services of Aggrey Madoi (on loan from Vipers), Albert Mugisa (school) and Saafi Basani (injured).

Police have won the previous two league meetings but lost their only competitive trip to Kitende 3-1 in the Uganda Cup early in January.
