Uganda Premier League stars guided Uganda Cranes to their 15^th Cecafa Senior Challenge title after defeating Eritrea 3-0 in the finals at Lugogo.

Bright Anukani broke the deadlock in the 35^th minute with a good finish after good work by Allan Okello to ensure Cranes took a slim 1-0 lead into the break.

He later turned provider setting up Mustafa Kizza for the second in the 68^th minute before substitutes Ben Ocen and Joel Madondo sealed the victory with the latter feeding off the former.

The squad comprised of only UPL stars and coached by Jonathan McKinstry assisted by Police and Wakiso Giants coach Abdallah Mubiru and Livingstone Mbabazi respectively.

KCCA goalkeeper Charles Lukwago was voted the best in his position.
