The StarTimes Uganda Premier League match two starts on Thursday with reigning champions Vipers taking on visiting Arua Hill under floodlights at Kitende.

The fixtures kicks off a week that will see games go on until Sunday.

Vipers saw off Gaddafi 2-1 in their opening match at the Gaddafi Arena in Jinja and will hope to carry same form into the first home game this season.

They are boosted by the return of experienced custodian Fabien Mutombora and new signing Paul Mbowa – both missed the trip to Jinja through injuries.

On the other hand, Arua Hill lost 1-0 at their new home in Paridi to Busoga United and thus need to get off the mark.

On Friday, there will be three fixtures with NEC and Kitara aiming to get another win when they host UPDF and Busoga United respectively.

NEC picked an away win 1-0 at Mbarara City on match day one and so did Busoga United at Paridi.

URA will also be in action against Gaddafi as both teams need to pick maiden maximum points of the season after the tax collectors only managed a goalless at UPDF last week.

Saturday will present KCCA’s Sergio Traguil his first taste of Ugandan league football when his side visits BUL.

On the same day, wounded Wakiso Giants and Soltilo Bright Stars face off at Wakissha while Express get their campaign underway at home against Wasswa Bbosa’s Mbarara City who lost to NEC last week.

The round will conclude with sixteen time champions SC Villa making a short trip to Luzira where current top of the table Maroons is lurking.

Villa lost to a late dramatic winner to newly promoted Kitara at Wankulukuku on Friday.
