StarTimes Uganda Premier League (SUPL) side Proline FC are through to the play-off round of the Caf Confederation Cup after eliminating Malawi’s Masters Security Services from the competition.

This follows Proline’s goalless draw at Bingu National Stadium in Lilongwe on Saturday, which ensured the Ugandans advanced to the next round 3-0 on aggregate.

Ivan Bogere’s hat-trick in Kampala in Proline’s maiden match on the continent had ensured they didn’t have much to do in Malawi.

Proline will now face Rwanda’s Association Sportive (AS) de Kigali in the next round, with the first leg on September 13-15 and the second on 27-29.

AS Kigali ejected Tanzania’s Kinondoni Municipal Council (KMC) 2-1 on aggregate after  the first leg ended goalless in Kigali.
