Proline FC have named former Uganda Cranes assistant coach Matia Lule as their new head coach.
The club confirmed the development on their official social media pages.
Lule returns to the premier league a couple of years after he left Express FC and has been assistant to Sebastien Desabre until the whole technical staff was relieved of their duties after Afcon 2019.
“We are delighted to announce the appointment of Mr. Matia Lule as our new Team Manager….,” read a statement from the club.
“Lule will be unveiled on Monday, 19th August 2019 at Star Times stadium Lugogo. He begins work immediately.
Lule replaces Shafik Bisaso who left the country to upgrade his coaching badges in Sweden and later England where he will spend more than a year.
Lule’s first game in charge will be an away tie in the Caf Confederation Cup against Masters Security of Malawi.
Proline leads 3-0 from the first leg at StarTimes stadium, Lugogo.
