Proline 3-1 Onduparaka
Nelson Senkatuka set up two goals and scored the other as Proline saw off Onduparaka in a 3-1 victory at Phillip Omondi stadium, Lugogo.
The visitors started well and got a penalty inside ten minutes that Ceaser Okhuti missed despite sending Saidi Keni the wrong way.
Gift Ali punished the miss with a goal in the 14th minute after nice work by Ssenkatuka who beat the offside trap to lay for the skipper whose first time hit shot the roof of the net.
The Caterpillars were forced into an early change when Rashid Toha was forced off through injury.
In the second half, the Arua based side, the Betway sponsored side pressed for the leveller but without a breakthrough and their failure to convert the chances created were punished by a counter attack that saw David Owor get at the end of Ssenkatuka cutback.
Six minutes later, the provider turned scorer after beating two Onduparaka defenders to slot past the hosts’ goalie for the icing on the cake.
In the first minute of added time, Muhammad Shaban got the consolation for Livingstone Mbabazi’s side with a goal from the penalty spot for his 9th of the season.
Onduparaka are now fourth on the log with 25 points while Proline rise to 9th with 19 points from 13th.
