KCCA will be out all guns blazing when they host Maroons as they seek for their first win of the 2023/24 League campaign.
The Kasasiro suffered an opening day 1-0 defeat to BUL and on Saturday, exited the Caf Confederation Cup at the hands of Libya’s Abu Salem despite a 3-2 home win.
KCCA Coach Sergio Traguil understands what Maroons who have won one and drawn the other of their games bring on table but only worried of his boys’ recovery time after the Saturday pulsating fixture.
“Its not easy when we have only two days to recover the team,” said Portuguese coach Sergio Traguil. “And I can’t change all the team because it will be a whole different situation.”
“The only advantage they will have is the different time of recovery. We are ready for the game. Maroons is a difficult team like all will be as most teams will always give extra against KCCA but the boys are ready to win.”
Meanwhile, Maroons vice captain Ronald Orombi wants his teammates to go show bravery and pick points from Lugogo after a draw against Villa and massive win over Wakiso Giants so far in the league.

“It will be a massive game,” he said. “We want to show the world who Maroons are. The coaches have given us all it takes and we are motivated to do well and we shall give in our best to try pick maximum points,” he added.
KCCA will task Abu Mayanja and Muhammad Shaban to look for goals while Darius Ojok and Fred Amaku will be the go to men for the visitors.
