The StarTimes Uganda Premier League continues on Friday with three matches but focus is on Blacks Power and UPDF who are in the fight to stay afloat.

Blacks Power make the trip to Arua where already relegated Onduparaka is lurking.

Hussein Mbalangu’s men occupy the second slot of the red zone with 23 points but victory could take them level on points with UPDF who are playing away to Gaddafi.

Besides, the Lira based side have a game in hand over both UPDF and Busoga United who are in front of them.

In their last game, Blacks Power saw off 10-man Gaddafi at Lira and that gives them optimism coming into the fixture.

At Kakindu, Brian Ssenyondo’s UPDF must beat hosts Gaddafi to keep survival hopes high.

They faltered in their last match falling to title chasing SC Villa and a repeat of such a result will leave them on the brink of falling into the second tier.

Elsewhere on the afternoon, limping Express host on form Maroons at Mutesa II stadium, Wankulukuku.

The Red Eagles were walloped by log leaders Vipers 5-2 in their last outing while Maroons beat Onduparaka 1-0.

Other matches on match day 29 will be played on Tuesday May 23rd with all three title chasing sides in action.
