Saturday Fixture

  • Paidha Black Angels Vs SC Villa – Green Light stadium, Arua 4pm
  • Mbarara City Vs Bright Stars – Kakyeeka
  • Ndejje University Vs Maroons – Arena of Visions

SC Villa will hope to keep their rediscovered mojo when they make a trip to Arua to face newly promoted Paidha Black Angels.

The 16-time league champions have picked nine points out of a possible 15 after managing just four in eight games at the league start.

They head to Arua on the back of a morale boosting 2-0 win over bitter rivals Express and a win against the hosts will see them win back to back games for the first time this season.

But they head into the game minus Albert Mugisa who is on compassionate leave after loss of his mother as well as Edgar Luzige who is injured.

Bashir Mutanda, Pius Wangi and Ambrose Kirya will be key for the visitors against Paidha who are not only troubled on the pitch but also off pitch.

They failed to honour their home game against Express in the Stanbic Uganda Cup and it remains to be seen whether it will be a different story come Saturday afternoon.

Elsewhere, Bright Stars who have lost their previous two games visit determined Mbarara City who have dropped just two points at home while Ndejje University host Maroons in an early relegation six pointer.
