Six time league champions Express will be out to stop their six match winless run against Vipers who they host on Tuesday in the league at Mutesa II stadium, Wankulukuku.

The Red Eagles last got victory off the Venoms in 2016 when Derrick Tekkwo scored the winner at Nakivubo stadium.

Since then, Vipers have won four of the six fixtures scoring 13 goals and conceded just two in the process.

Coach Wasswa Bbosa who was in charge of the Red Eagles then is aware of the unwanted record and seeks to change the tide.

“Our results against Vipers haven’t been good in the past days but we believe we can change that on Tuesday,” he told upl.co.ug. “Our preparations since the break have been good and we want to build on our last win against Villa,” he added.

In Vipers, Express face a team beaming with confidence after walloping MYDA 7-0 on Saturday.

Fred Kajoba is expected to make a few changes from the team that played on the day probably adding more steel in midfield and in defence.

A win for Express could lift them up to second on the 16-team log while Vipers will go top with maximum points.
