Sadam Juma, Kaddu earn Uganda Cranes summon

Sebastien Desabre has summoned over eleven local based players in the team to prepare for the 2019 Afcon qualifier against Tanzania.

KCCA midfielder Sadam Ibrahim Juma returns to the team for the first time after the 2018 Chan while Patrick Kaddu earned his first call up away from the Cranes Namutima.

Other local based players on the team are Nicholas Ssebwato of Onduparaka and fellow goalkeeper Charles Lukwago of KCCA.

Among the defenders from the StarTimes Premier League are Isaac Isinde (Kirinya Jinja), Timothy Denis Awany (KCCA) and Proline’s Mustafa Mujjuzi.

New Vipers SC captain Taddeo Lwanga is in the team together with teammate Moses Waiswa and SC Villa’s Martin Kizza.

Allan Kyambadde and Kaddu are the local based forwards on the team but there is no place for league top scorer Daniel Sserunkuma, Muhammad Shaban and Nelson Senkatuka.

The team starts non-residential training on September 01 ahead of the game on September 08.
