Uganda Vs Namibia, 10:30pm
Sadam Juma insists that Uganda might have fallen to Zambia 3-1 on Sunday but the Cranes are not out.
The defeat left Uganda bottom of Group B with no points, with their Thursday opponents, Namibia, who edged Ivory Coast 1-0, just behind leaders Zambia on goal difference.
Now the Cranes must pick themselves up in their next game or they are out of the 2018 Africa Nations Championship (Chan) in the group stage.
Sadam is back in the Cranes fold after years of obscurity and is one of the more experienced players on the team having featured in Uganda’s debut Chan in 2011.
The Cranes lost all three group matches in 2011 but Sadam managed to score Uganda’s only goal in the 2-1 defeat to Gabon.
It is that resilience that has the Uganda Premier League (UPL) side, KCCA player believing.
“It’s lack of faith that makes people afraid of meeting challenges,” Sadam posted on his Instagram page.
“We still believe in ourselves 100 percent,” he addressed, tagging @UgandaCranes.
The Cranes will wrap up their group matches against Ivory Coast on January 22.
