Ugandan midfield player Saddam Juma believes the Cranes are steadily getting their act together under new coach Sebastien Desabre.
The Uganda Premier League (UPL) player with champions KCCA has taken the opportunity handed to him by the Frenchman with both hands, playing in the two matches Desabre has been in charge of.
The two matches saw Uganda draw 1-1 with Guinea before getting a reality check in the 1-0 defeat to Congo on Tuesday.
“We tried to get good results but we failed in the second game,” admitted Juma.
“But we have tactically improved under the new coach as we try to get along with the tactics he gives us.
“The boys are positive despite the loss against Congo.
“But by Sunday, we will fix up all that we failed to do.”
Uganda open their Africa Nations Championship (Chan) campaign against Zambia on Sunday.
