Sadolin Paints F.C 1-2 Soana F.C

Soana FC kick started their second round of the Uganda Premier league on a positive note.

The Kavumba based club registered a 2-1 away victory over Sadolin Paints at Bugembe stadium on Tuesday evening.

Newly signed players Simon Okwi (from Bul F.C) and Musa Esenu (MUBS) scored the goals for the visitors in the first and fourth minutes of the game respectively.

The home side, who missed the services of their team captain, Peter Katumba through injury managed to get a late consolation.

This was an own goal scored by Soana defender Shafiki Nana Kakeeto with five minutes to the end.

The home side was unfortunate when they lost their first choice goalkeeper, Umar Mayanja when he collided with Okwi as the second half neared a climax.

Soana climbs to 7th position on the league table, same points (24) as URA, SC Villa and Bright Stars.

Unfortunately, Sadolin Paints F.C remains glued in the 11th position.
