Express vs The Saints, Wankulukuku Stadium, 4.30pm

Wankulukuku will on Tuesday host two teams that are not short on entertainment; two teams that are desperate to continue their winning ways.

Hosts Express are fresh from a 2-1 win over relegation favourites Maroons while the Saints are enjoying a good spell of form, with a similar scoreline victory against league leaders KCCA the latest of their points collection.

Third on the log with 42 points, nine behind leaders KCCA but with a game less than the leaders, Express will be intent on not putting the foot off the peddle.

Victory over the Saints will see coach Wasswa Bbosa’s men keep up their faint hopes of winning their first league title since 2012.

But in the Saints, Express find one dangerous Moses Basena outfit that has enjoyed a good spell in the past two months as they climbed out of relegation places.

Fourth from bottom with 27 points – five above relegation – from 24 matches, they can’t afford to relax.

“Now we continue improving offensively and defensively and if we do, we shall stay up,” said Saints coach Basena.

Basena will hope Alex Kitata and Ivan Kiwewa carry their scoring form from KCCA into this tie while Bbosa will count of experienced Tony Odur to fashion things for Express upfront.
