Abdulrahman Ajab scored the winning goal as new look SC Villa edged wasteful URA 1-0 at Namboole in the third game in the Pilsner Super Eight.
The former URA and JMC striker got at the end of a beautiful pass from match day skipper Ambrose Kirya to slot home past Salim Wekiya in goal.
SC Villa with a mixture of youth and experience in their line-up had the game in control in the first half bossing almost all departments but Sam Ssimbwa’s side improved in the second.
Robert Mukongotya, Shafik Kagimu and Ronald Kigongo came close to netting the leveller while at the other end, Ajab strike on the half volley missed target by inches.
SC Villa now joins KCCA and Nyamityobora in the last four and only await Onduparaka or Ndejje University to complete semi-final set.
