SC Villa in partnership with Ultimate Fitness

Sports Club Villa (SC Villa) have entered a partnership with Ultimate Fitness Kampala as the 16-time record champions continue the rebuilding process.

The partnership was announced on Tuesday in Kampala ahead of the 2020/21 StarTimes Uganda Premier League (SUPL) due November 20.

“As a club, we are happy to partner with Ultimate Fitness Kampala,” said SC Villa CEO Shawn Mubiru.

“This is one of the many steps we are taking to make sure the club becomes a modern and professional entity.”

Mubiru added: “We continue to unpack and slowly share the results of the work we’ve been (and still are) doing behind the scenes to transform the club.

“Right now we call upon our fans and supporters to welcome Ultimate Fitness into the Jogoo family.”

Paul Kaliisa of Ultimate Fitness Kampala could not have been prouder.

“We’re proud to be associated with a club of SC Villa’s stature,” he said.

“And we’re happy about this relationship because as a company that hinges a lot on community tenets, we could not see a better partner than this Great Community Club.”

SC Villa head coach Edward Kaziba welcomed the development.

“I’m happy that my players are now going to get top level gym training,” he said.

“This partnership couldn’t have come at a better time for us. We’re very happy about this and we look forward to greatness.”

SC Villa recently announced they had taken the community club route, where supporters subscribe as members by paying an annual Shs50,000 in order to have a say in matters the club.

That annual subscription comes with a season ticket for all home matches and one vote for the club president per person every four years.

The club are looking for their first league title since 2004.
