SC Villa 2-1 Proline

Kyetume 1-1 URA

SC Villa came from behind to beat Proline 2-1 in a StarTimes Uganda Premier League (SUPL) game played on Saturday.

Hamis Kiiza gave the hosts the lead on 18 minutes but a penalty from Ambrose Kirya and another goal at the death by Benson Muhindo ensured the Jogoos claimed all three points.

The victory, Villa’s 10th in 21 matches, sees them consolidate their third position on 37 points, seven behind second-placed KCCA and eight adrift of leaders Vipers.

On their part, it couldn’t go any worse for Proline in their relegation battle. They remain rooted at the bottom on just 15 points.

Elsewhere, Saidi Kyeyune scored 17 minutes from time to salvage a point for URA away to Kyetume.

Robert Ssentongo had given the hosts a second minute lead.

This is only the second time URA are dropping points in six matches of the second round.

URA remain fourth on 34 points while Kyetume are a place above relegation on 23.
