With less than a week to kick off the second round of the league, SC Villa have added former Express Coach Wasswa Bbosa to their technical team.The revelation was made by the club president Ben Misagga who said the former defensive midfielder joins the Jogoos as an “associate coach.”
“He has joined us on a one year renewable contract,” Misagga told upl.co.ug.
Bbosa, who was sacked by Express in the first round of the league, will work closely with Shafik Bisaso who was elevated to the post of head coach after the club sacked Deo Sserwadda early in the season.
His official unveiling is expected on Sunday at Villa Park as well as new signings, Emma Okwi, Arthur Arakaza and Sulaiman Luzige among others.
The 16-time league winners sit 2nd on the log with 31 points, one adrift of log leaders KCCA and open their second round campaign with an away match against Bright Stars on Tuesday February 7, 2017.
