SC Villa seek first win in New Year, Ondu host Maroons

Record league winners SC Villa resume the search for first win in New Year when they host Busoga United at Namboole on Tuesday.

The Jogoos lost 2-0 to four time champions URA on match day 16 while their visitors beat giants Express by the same score line.

Bashir Mutanda could return to the Jogoos team after missing most parts of the campaign so far through injury but question marks remain on whether Derrick Ndahiro and Amir Kakomo among others who missed the game against URA through lack of licenses.

Elsewhere, Maroons visit Onduparaka targeting all points after losing 2-1 to Proline last week.

It will be Onduparaka’s first official game in the new year after they won the game against Tooro United by forfeiture last week.
