Sixteen time league champions SC Villa host bottom of the table Onduparaka at the Akii Bua stadium, Lira aiming to trim gap on the leading pack.

The Jogoos come into the game on the back of elimination from the Stanbic Uganda Cup and so any chance of lifting silverware in the season remains in the league.

They are 5th on the table with 25 points and a win will lift them to fourth but on same points with third placed champions Vipers SC who drew goalless with Wakiso Giants on Tuesday.

At Luzira, Maroons host Soltilo Bright Stars who will be in league action for the first time since beating KCCA at the end of last year.

The two teams played to a goalless draw in the reverse fixture and have won three times each in the past nine meetings.
