Paul Nkata confronts his former Bosses

After faltering against champions KCCA, SC Villa’s title charge faces another tough test at home to URA.

The Jogoos have seen their title aspirations dented in their previous weeks and have now dropped to second on the 16-team log with 33 points.

“We can’t afford any slip up,” said Wasswa Bbosa. “It’s a difficult game against a good team but we want nothing less than three points,” he added.

With KCCA having a relatively easier fixture away to Masavu, failure to beat Paul Nkata’s 8th placed URA may see the Jogoos drop to third.

The visitors, winners over Bright Stars in their previous game will rely on former SC Villa centre forward Herman Wasswa and midfielders Saidi Kyeyune and Shafik Kagimu for inspiration.

For the hosts, midfielders Allan Kyambadde, Ambrose Kirya and the returning Martin Kizza will be tasked with unlocking the Paul Mbowa – Richard Kasagga manned backline.

SC Villa won the corresponding fixture 1-0 last season and have lost just once in their last eight meetings after losing four in the seven fixtures before.
