SC Victoria University vs The Saints – Mandela national stadium @ 4:30pm
With the league drawing closer to the end, the race to avoid relegation is heating up and the teams in the relegation zone are fighting for every point available in a bid to stave off the monster.
Struggling Victoria University play host to The Saints on Tuesday at Namboole as both sides remain locked in the battle to avoid the drop.
Victoria University come into this encounter in the aftermath of a 5-0 demolition at the hands of fellow strugglers Simba on Saturday and with seven games left, all the remaining fixtures are must wins.
The hosts have won just once since the beginning of the second round and collected four points in total thus have the least points attained – only shared by Maroons who are rock bottom of the table.
The Saints on the other hand come into this game at the back of a one all draw at home against URA and currently occupy the 13th position just a point adrift of the drop zone although they have two games at hand.
Moses Basena, the Saints coach will need to improve on his away performance where his side have won one game in the last five on away grounds.
The Saints are in 13th position on 20 points while Victoria University are two places further on 19 points.
The last meeting between the two sides ended in a 2-1 win for Victoria University
