Uganda Vs Namibia, 10:30pm
Cranes coach Sebastien Desabre is demanding a positive reaction from his players ahead of the crucial 2018 Africa Nations Championship (Chan) match against Namibia on Thursday.
Uganda go into this one desperate to win to brighten their chances of progressing from the group.
The Cranes lost their opening match 3-1 to Zambia in Marrakech on Sunday, which left them in this dire situation.
“Nothing is impossible in football,” Sebastien is quoted as saying on the Fufa website, “I believe you all know what is expected of us on Thursday.
“We created many chances in the first half against Zambia but never utilized them well. We must do better. ”
All players took part in the training session on Tuesday except for KCCA FC striker Muhammad Shaban, who suffered a knock on his ankle of the right leg.
“I have 22 other players in camp and I need to see them rise to the occasion if Shaban doesn’t make the squad on Thursday,” explained Sebastien.
“We need to make a difference with good results.”
